Top 5 Upcoming Games of 2021

Every time a new generation of consoles is introduced, it manages to attract a new segment of people into gaming. These are the people who don’t find the need to own a console or modify their PCs for heavy gaming. First-generation gamers have a lot of expectations and no experience. These people typically buy a console only because they liked a particular game. And that game becomes the reason they try to experience the world of gaming. Since a lot of us might be getting a new console this holiday season, here are the top 5 upcoming games of 2021 to look forward to.

The Medium

The Medium is a psychological horror game that features dual-reality gameplay immersing the player into the real world and the spirit world at the same time. The player, playing as a medium has to use psychic abilities to solve the dark mystery spanning across both worlds while surviving the encounters with The Maw – a monster born from an unspeakable tragedy.

Deathloop

Deathloop is the most interesting entry in this top 5 list of upcoming games of 2021. The game transports you, Colt, a deadly assassin on the mysterious 60s inspired island of Blackreef. For Colt, this island is like a prison. He is trapped within an endless time loop that resets at the end of each day. The only way to escape is to break the time loop by assassinating 8 key targets across the island before the day resets. As you plan to extinguish all your targets, lurking in the shadows will be the rival assassin, Julianna whose sole mission is to kill Colt and as a result, keep the loop going.

The game offers a unique blend of a multiplayer mode within the single-player storyline. Players, while experiencing the main story as Colt, can also choose to play the role of Julianna, sneaking into another player’s campaign to stop them for breaking the loop. The multiplayer mode is completely optional. Players can either let Julianna be controlled by in-game AI or let another player control it.
